Prototyping and architecture
We prefer to wireframe and prototype when time and budget allows. Getting things right from the off helps inform the design process and content creation. But there’s more than one way to build a website – with a more agile approach we work closely with the client building the site from an open framework – discussing and testing every step of the way. This open approach best suits smaller and flexible sites which are never built around a large database of content.
Design and development
Our design and development team work side by side: sounds like a small point, but getting the through the development phase and not losing sight of the design vision is really important to us and our clients. We aim to be incredibly vigilant during the development process, it’s not just bug checking and being browser aware, sometimes we need to react to an unexpected change in direction or revisions to specification.
Content and hosting
It’s an old saying already but ‘content is king’ still rings true. Any site lives or dies by its content and regular updates. We have working relationships with out clients that allows to keep working on site content long after launch. We never stand still – we are constantly adding and improving sites – embedding video and digital content.
The host environment is equally important. It’s not about sticking it up online and forgetting about it. We maintain our sites and make sure they have the latest security updates. If you lose or overwrite content we have automated backups – so we can rewind…

WordPress is open source content management software and currently powers around 30% of all websites on the Internet. The project is contributed to by tens of thousands of developers all over the world and is growing from strength to strength. WordPress allows us to develop flexible and customisable websites to modern standards and observes web development best practices. Furthermore the community of web developers that use WordPress reaches far and wide and allows us to tap into this collective intelligence and bring that wealth of experience to your project.
