Leatherhead Food Research
Founded in 1919, Leatherhead Food Research provides expertise and support to the global food and beverage sector. They provide practical solutions that cover all stages of a product’s life cycle from consumer insight, ingredient innovation and sensory testing to food safety consultancy and global regulatory advice.
We were set the brief of creating a suite of pictograms, each depicting a feature or benefit of the Leatherhead offering. The resulting icons help communicate sometimes complex messages through: infographics, membership information and within video and animation. Giving the client an extended communication toolkit which extends their brand identity.
With an extended identity in place, we utilised the infographics and pictograms in an animation created to give a introductory overview of Leatherhead Food Research. The process involved working with the client to select and define key messages and benefits from both the wider market and membership perspective.
A phase of storyboarding shared online though the Adobe XD platform allowed our design team to work iteratively with the client.
The video was then created against the signed off content, delivering a kinetic animation that delivers the content effectively and on brand.
