Standing out from the crowd
We have produced many videos for XL Catlin, for internal comms as well as external promotions – in a variety of languages. Our videos have enhanced product launches, events, social media and created key content for the website and on their internal intranet.
Whilst animated or ‘kinetic’ videos are no longer a new idea, if produced with care and attention to a brand, they can really elevate a client’s position in the marketplace. The sound, type, animation style and voice over combine to give a real or tangible expression of identity.
How do we do this? We examine the brief and the intended target audience, looking for a new or fresh angle before we start to storyboard, conceptualise, write scripts, source music and hunt down the exact voice over artists. Only then do we set to work weaving it all together and animating.

Working on Art Catlin with Sandra and Paul at Demographik was a delight. It’s an ever changing sponsorship for us at Catlin, and we’re always looking for new ways to do things. As part of their CR Strategy, XL Catlin are committed to scientific research and study of the world’s coral reefs. They realised that a clever way of raising awareness of the work, amongst their staff worldwide, was to reach out to their children with information, created especially for them.
